Artificial Intelligence (AI). It’s a hot topic. Many artists fear jobs being lost and creativity becoming a thing of the past. The barrier to entry seems high due to fragmented information and an ever-evolving landscape. That’s exactly why we found an individual who is, first and foremost, an artist. Nicolas Erba is a VFX artist with six years of compositing experience. He understands what it means to create something and put the hard work in. He also understands that AI is a tool; when used to complement an already skilled artist and their workflow, it can unlock new levels of efficiency and creativity. This workshop isn’t about hacking together neat pictures to impress the Instagram crowd. It’s about knowing a tool inside and out, then utilizing it to maintain your creative flow, execute a vision, and stay flexible in an industry filled with notes and constant feedback.
